Race for FL-07 Tied in New Poll

Trump previously won FL-07 by nearly 13 points and is now underwater by -14 with voters.

SANFORD, FL –  A newly released poll from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has the race between Navy combat veteran and former NASA Chief of Staff Bale Dalton and Indiana also-ran Ryan Elijah tied in a dead heat. The polling results also show President Trump’s approval ratings sinking among Central Floridians.

Campaign Manager, MG Darmody, released the following statement:

“This poll confirms what we’ve heard from Central Floridians over the past year: This election is about more than partisan politics. Voters want a representative who will fight for them, not political parties or special interests. We’re already seeing strong voter turnout, and Bale Dalton has tapped into what our community wants most: a leader who puts Central Florida first. We know this race will come down to the wire, and we’ll fight for every vote until polls close on November 3rd. Central Floridians are ready for change, and we intend to deliver it.”

Dalton more than doubled his opponent’s raise in Q3 and has received several cross party endorsements from Republican elected officials including former Florida Republican U.S. Senator and Republican National Committee Chair Mel Martinez.

ABOUT BALE DALTON:

Bale Dalton is a decorated Navy Reserve Captain and former NASA Chief of Staff who has always answered the call to serve America. One of four raised in a hardworking Central Florida family, Bale graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and has served in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve for 24 years. He deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, the Horn of Africa, and the Pacific, flying Navy helicopters and directing air combat support with Navy SEALs in Afghanistan.

Following active duty, he worked for Senator Bill Nelson, helping Florida veterans access the care and benefits they had earned. After an additional stint on active duty, Bale returned to government service as NASA Chief of Staff. At NASA, he managed 16,500 employees and helped run one of the federal government’s most effective agencies.

After a lifetime of service, Bale is now running to represent his home, Florida’s 7th Congressional District, in the U.S. House of Representatives.
