Cook Political Report Shifts Race from “Likely R” to “Lean R”

SANFORD, FL – Cook Political Report, a trusted non-partisan election race rater, just moved the battle for FL-07 in Bale Dalton’s favor. The seat, previously rated as “Likely R” now moves to “Lean R” signaling the district is a prime-pick up opportunity for a coalition builder like Dalton. A Navy combat veteran and former NASA Chief of Staff, Dalton more than doubled his opponent’s fundraising and secured the endorsement of former RNC Chairman and former Republican Senator Mel Martinez.
